Not a JW. I have seen that video, I think the 2 points to that video are he will be associating with worldly thus bad associations and also taking away from the much needed time of serving Jehovah aka GB.
This is precisely why their music they produce is on the scale of high school level because no one has seriously studied music. OH, that is right that would be in one of those after school extra curriculum programs. Bad associations.

recent experiences on here about cart witnessing when an ex jw engages them in discussion , it`s not long usually before the jw excuses themselves packs up and moves on .. if they really believed they have the "truth" they should be confident enough to win their argument/discussion.and stand their ground.. obviously they aren`t.. if we believe the bible jesus and his apostles never shied away from talking to / engaging in discussions with the jewish religious leaders of the day.?.
not so with jehovah`s witnesses they are instructed not to engage with ex jw`s , people who know what jw`s believe inside out.and can effectively refute their arguments.and point to their failures.. if their faith is that shallow that talking to an ex jw will weaken their own faith , then they really do not have a very strong foundation of their own faith do they.. smiddy.
Oh, mention a court case or two that they have lost and that is just apostate lies.
even though, i was raised in a witness home, i never remember hearing that girl scout cookies were a no-no.
and even though i've only been baptized for a few years, i don't remember any specific admonishment of these sweet treats.
but recently at work a jdub coworker made it a point to remind me that jw's do not buy or eat girl scout cookies.
Never a JW, so my daughter was a Girl Scout for a couple of years. I have a rather funny story about these delightful cookies and me. When it comes to my kids I always would get involved in their activities. Sooo, my girlfriend hinted to one of the regional leaders that you might ask the Rebel if she would consider being the Regional Cookie Mom. Well I have always had this big problem with that crazy 2 letter word NO. OK so about 30 days before sales are to begin I get this friendly call to remind me that it is time to make sure my garage is completely cleaned out and ready to receive this tractor trailer full of girl scout cookies. WHAT!! Not only that, then I find out I was responsible for the delivery of these over three rural counties to each troop. Thankfully I had a large extended body conversion van at the time. I had a serious talk with my girlfriend about volunteering my services in the future. LOL.

Never a JW but when I viewed the bunker video my first thought was the ARC. Yes they will be knocking on a lot of doors world wide with court summons to testify and it will be the Elders straight up the line they are after. WELL when you have protected the pedophiles and disfellowshiped the victims all these years what do you expect? Caleb and Sofia those cartoons are abusive. One of the first ones I ever watched was a year ago February about staying awake and paying attention during meetings. These are kids, I would have totally lost it had I been in a KH when that was aired. My son had Epstein Barre virus when he was a child you could be in the middle of a sentence he would fall asleep. This went on for 1 year. Then the ice cream money. Sophia is going to tell my grandkids about your little panda paradise well my grandkids will be telling Sophia about false prophets and pedophiles. How about Sophia and Caleb learning about the bad guys how realistic was that stupid cartoon -- they showed the bad guy as a monster when bad guys are that normal guy sitting right next to you. Good job WT. Let's get real WT try teaching your kids real world things, stop sheltering them, let them live in the real world, interact with the real world so when they become adults they know what the world is all about. Let them participate in after school programs find talents that they will excel at and may be interested in. Let them have friends we worldly people are not so bad.

i came in during all the hype over 1975. the predictions about that date were the real driver behind all their activity.
since then, they haven't had a good goad to prod the sheep.
they seem to be smart enough not to try another date.. i think they plan to use fear instead.
It is like the last couple that came to my door an Elder and his wife. He asked if I have been looking at their website, I said yes but not any more I find the news there to be extremely slanted they are only telling you the positive things happening with the organization. They have not told you about a single one of the Child Sexual court cases they have lost and I listed some of them or the Australian Royal Commission.
Yes they fear the JWS will find these documents online. I challenged the Elder to go online and read the court transcripts.

For 5 years the "Elder" and I never had a single argument then he gave me the first piece of JW literature to see how I would react. And did I react! I asked questions by email and in return I got "good bye have a nice life"
